Phillies Sweep Twinbill
My original post for this topic was deleted by my computer. So suffice it to say, it was a busy and exciting day for the Phillies. Here are the highlights:
- Randy Wolf makes his comeback
- Bobby Abreu and Cory Lidle are traded to the Yankees for four prospects
- Chase Utley extends hitting streak to 31 games and hits for the cycle in the doubleheader
- Ryan Howard draws 5 walks in game 1 and then hits a homer and a double in game 2
- Phillies complete sweep of Florida Marlins
Today's Game- Jon Lieber toes the rubber against Josh Johnson who has been very good for the young Marlins. Johnson has a ERA of 2.60. Today's game is a businessperson special with a starting time of 1:00.
