76ers For Sale?
The Boston Globe is reporting that Comcast-Spectacor is considering selling the Sixers. This rumor has been around for a couple months but has never had much basis. Peter Luuko, president of Comcast-Spectacor, denied the report in the Boston Globe. Luuko said "No one has made us an offer and we're not actively selling the team." If this report was about the Phillies I would be thrilled but Comcast-Spectacor has done a good job of running the Sixers, Flyers, and Phantoms. Both the Sixers and Flyers problems lay at the feet of their GM's and not owner.
