Philly Cheesesteak of Info
- Today's Phillies game has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 12:10 as both teams had days off. Jamie Moyer will still oppose John Maine in the rubber game.
- The Flyers will open rookies camp on September 6 this year with the main camp beginning September 15 in Voorhees, NJ. The will start with 5 practice days then play 7 games in 10 days and finish with 5 practice days.
- The Big 5 has agreed on a four year contract that will include a full round-robin games each year but will not have a Big 5 classic. The Big 5 classic began in 2001 and had an afternoon doubleheader and a single night game. All the Big 5 schools plus Drexel participated but after 4 years and because of scheduling difficulties it has been done away with. The Big 5 which is unique to Philly will continue though.
